Reach Society is rolling out its 6th FREE Careers Conference for young people on Tuesday, 4 April 2017, during the Easter break. This year it will be held at the Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way, Russell Square (nearest tube stations are Russell Square, Euston & Euston Square).

They are sending you the attached flyer to inform you of this event which is designed to encourage, motivate and inspire young people aged 14 to 24.

If you have already registered for this event no further action is required.

This year the Society shall be rolling out more than 5 dozen professional men from the Black community.  All of them are volunteers and will be interacting with  young people in order to inspire them.

They also plan to have more than 30 employers (8 more than last year) offering a wide range of employment opportunities and community groups who routinely work with young people, preparing them for successful futures. In addition, they shall be rolling out their themed Perfect 10 Workshops which are unique to this event. They are also piloting the Yes We Can interlude, from 12.30pm. It will be an interaction between the young people and a panel of 6 experts, namely:

o   Sir Geoff Palmer, Emeritus Professor, Heriot-Watt University & Patron of Reach Society

o   Mrs Mei Sim Lai, founder of LaiPeters & Co – an accountancy business

o   Adam Reader, Managing Director, Grace Foods UK

o   Simon Dowson-Collins, Director, HarperCollins Publishers

o   Rudi Page, Founder, MCW – people development consultancy, and

o   Fitz Thomas, Former City Trader & Property Expert

They will be addressing the topic: “The link between education and generating wealth.”
